James C. Lee, Past Vice Chair of the Shawnee Tribe Cultural and Historical Preservation Committee, has dedicated years to protecting and interpreting Shawnee heritage. His ancestors include the great Shawnee leaders Cornstalk, Blue Jacket, and Tecumseh. He has also been especially helpful to Pathways member PDG Bob Kuck in the writing of his second book, Tecumseh’s White Brother, offering valuable historical insight and cultural perspective. His presentation will explore the tribe’s past, present, and the vital work being done to preserve cultural identity for future generations.
